Announcing Expansion of Recreation Program
For Girls Ages Twelve to Fifteen Years of Age for 2001

The Aberdeen/Matawan and Holmdel Soccer Leagues are pleased to announce a
joint venture in which their Senior Divisions will be merged effective this
Fall. This initiative is designed to increase the number of children
competing in our older age groups, allowing for the introduction of an
individual Boy and Girl Senior Divisions

We anticipate the formulation of six boy and four girl teams based upon
last years registration data for the two respective leagues. We are
optimistic that this change will encourage more children to participate in
the recreation program and improve the level of competition. Games will be
scheduled at sites in Aberdeen/Matawan area and Holmdel community.

The Aberdeen/Matawan Soccer League will communicate additional information
regarding this exciting initiative when details become available.

Rutgers Course for Rec Soccer in Fall 2003

A Rutgers certification class is needed to coach. We will sponsor the candidates.

Every Saturday from 4PM to 5:30PM at Strathmore Elementary,
Ross Field or Matawan HS

Come on by and join our Travel and Recreational coaches to play
soccer. Please bring water and shinguards and be ready to have fun.

On October 27th " Make a Difference Day " was held at various AMSL fields.
2001 Season
We collected over 550 pounds of assorted food which will be distributed to several
of the 285 food pantries in Monmouth and Ocean counties. The FoodBank stated via
letter that they were truly grateful for our participation and our commitment to those less
fortunate.
